Warming Immunity Tea

This simple tea recipe combines three of my favorite immunity system boosts to warm yourself from the inside out. It feels both refreshing and nourishing, like a patch of sunshine, perfect for colder temperatures and shorter days.

I trust the Traditional Medicinals brand and find the turmeric teabag a lot more practical when you can't get fresh turmeric root.


  • 4 cups boiling water

  • 2 inches ginger cut into smaller chunks (I keep the skin on for added nutrients, just wash it first)

  • 2 Limes juiced

  • 1 teabag Traditional Medicines Turmeric

  • optional: honey to taste


  • Combine everything and let it steep for up to 10 minutes (the longer, the stronger the taste)

  • Add honey right before drinking
