DIY Winter Mood Mist

Just spritz for a soothing pick-me-up!

You can use this mist anywhere, spray it on a pillow, in a room, as a body spray... The base formula is quite simple and just add whatever aromatherapy blend strikes your fancy or that you have on hand.

Ingredients:

  • 6-7 oz distilled water (to prevent any impurities from the tap. You can go ahead and boil some water and let it come to room temperature before using if that's what is available.

  • 1-2 oz witch hazel.

  • 20 or so drops of essential oil of your choice, This blend is a soothing and uplifting one for the winter months: 6 drops lavender, 6 drops frankincense, 4 drops bergamot, 4 drops cedarwood.

Directions:

  • Combine witch hazel and essential oils in an 8 oz glass bottle.

  • shake to emulsify (it will turn whiteish.) this will help stop the oil from gooing up the spray nozzle and also help it combine with the water.

  • fill the rest of the way up with water.

You can make smaller little sprays to keep around the house, on your desk or by your bed.
